This installation video walks you through the proper installation of the PST Snowbike Engine Jacket and optional Cold Weather Panel. Follow along to see how each component is positioned and installed on your snowbike for proper fit, protection, and cold-weather performance.
Installation Steps
- Prepare your snowbike – Ensure the engine is cool before beginning installation. Clean the engine area of any dirt or debris.
- Remove the skid plate – Remove the skid plate from the bottom of the engine to allow proper access and fitment of the Engine Jacket.
- Position the Engine Jacket – Start on the right side of the bike and work your way around to the left side, aligning the PST Engine Jacket around the engine and ensuring all cutouts line up with the cylinder, exhaust, and other components. Additional installation instructions are printed on the back of the Engine Jacket.
- Secure the jacket – Fasten all bungees, straps snugly. The jacket should fit firmly.
- Install the Cold Weather Panel (optional) – If using the Cold Weather Panel, install it in the area above the exhaust on the right side of the bike as shown in the video for added cold-weather protection.
- Check fitment – Confirm all edges are tucked and secured, with no loose material.
- Test ride – Take a short ride and check that the jacket stays in place and the engine reaches proper operating temperature.
